"This kennel is completely blue collar, without big sponsor money or a bloated attitude. These dogs are hard-headed and hard-working huskies. Their lineage includes that from Swingley, Barron, Claus, Butcher, King, Perrino, etc. Our goal is to keep at it, train hard and claw our way toward the front of the pack on a consistent basis"...Scott Smith from Iditarod.com

Alaskan huskies are powerful freighting dogs which have hauled people and supplies for centuries. They are an important breed as they combine  the stamina and speed of the original Eskimo work dogs. All of the breeds are intelligent, even-tempered, and best of all, affectionate.

A dog bred and born at our kennels begins  working in the harness at about a year old. Running different positions on the team, they quickly learn to work in concert behind the lead dog. The breeding and training program at our kennel is a year-round operation.
